It´s Macro March! Do you have any suggestions what I shal draw in this fine month?

Okay, this happend earlier. I was at my LCS and saw a cute manga in the bargain shelf. It was cute, slice of life about a furry foxgirl, 50% percent off. I jutted it down to buy when I get my monthly comic draw next week, and put it back ito the shelf. A few seconds later some kid snatched the mange and bought it. I know, I know, first comes, serves first, still. I feel incredibly pissed about it. I allready checked E-bay (Amazon will not see a cent from me) and of course it is much more expensive there.

It pisses me off that this happend, but it pisses me off more that this pisses me off that much. Not a small part of me feels like that dumb kid can´t appreciate the comic as much as a comic collector like me, that he will lose interest in in in a few days and that his mom will throw it in the trash and that this is a terrible waste, and I hate that I feel like that. I feel like a petty, douchy "Comic-Book-Guy" type.

ARGH, this really ruins my evening. That damn lucky kid. I should have bought that manga right away or put it in my box to buy it next week. Now it is gone and I have to search the internet to get it cheap without using Amazon. Also I feel like an asshole for being mad at that kid. I wanted to draw some today, but this really ruined my fucking mood. Fuck this.

So, this terrible year is almost over, lets hope 2024 will be better.

I have a few plans:

• Continiue drawing Small Gods, maybe some more comics I have sketched up.

• Birthday drawings for all of my homies (I missed some birthdays this year).

• Depending on my financial situation I will go to Eurofurence again.

• A small vacation in Athens with my family.

• Hopefully meeting some of my online Homies (Maybe at EF).

• Getting a new bookshelf since I really need one.

• Play more Pen and Paper RPGs

• See how I can get a promotion and/or a raise at work.

I also have a few worries. Money will be tighter as prices will rise especially energy prices with upcoming law changes. The wars in Ukraine and the Middle East are ongoing and will waste scores of innocent lives before they will be solved. And there may be some more wars on the horizont, with Venezuela threatning Guyana and the PR of China threatening Taiwan. Then there will will be presidential elections in the US which may mark a return of the Orange One to the White House, something that may have terrible consiquences for the whole world. And don´t get me startet with the ongoing climate crisis. The world is a terrifying place right now and I want you to know, we´re all in this together. It will pass and maybe there will be better days ahead. Lets hope for the best.

In any case, I wish all of you a happy, healthy, peacefull and sucessfull 2024, as free of worries as possible.

What are your 2024 plans?

It breaks my heart, since I have been watching some people for a long time but I will start dewatching them for using plagiarism programms. I really do not want to see all of this AI crap cramed in my timeline. I am really dissaponted in some artits as they used to do real art and should know better.

Okay, here https://www.loona.dog/ is this absolutely gorgeous statue of Loona, everybodys favorite hellhound, for preorder. And I really want it. I even have an idea where to put her.

On the con, she costs 220.- USD plus shipping, which is a lot of money for me. It is not that I can´t afford her, but there are some other things in the pipeline before here. But preoder ends on November 10th, so what to do?

I hope you can give me some advice befroe I dump so much money on what is basically just decoration.
